As January Digital reflects on 2018, we’re proud to see how much we accomplished as an agency. We were recognized for more than 20 awards, ranging from work with our clients to “Best Place to Work,” surpassing goals we set for our clients and ourselves. Looking back, we’re not only proud of our team and their accomplishments with our clients, but also how much we’ve been able to give back to our communities. Across our agency, we spent a combined 2,500 hours giving back in 2018 across five different organizations in New York and Dallas. We took our desire to give back a step further, too, incorporating clients in the donations we made (both in time and physical items). For the holidays, we teamed up with the team at Kendo to contribute to Genesis Women’s Shelter & Support in Dallas to help women in need. Their shelter was created to raise awareness and provide safety, shelter, and support for women who have experienced domestic violence. Kendo generously donated more than 3,000 beauty products to help women in abusive situations still feel like themselves as they get back on their feet. Because of this generous donation, more than 400 women received a bag of products as a surprise for Christmas. We were lucky enough to have the Kendo team fly from San Francisco to join us in Dallas to sort, bag, and wrap the donations (and eat some Texas BBQ!). The same day, Amy Lauer, VP of Digital at Kendo, hosted a charity event to gather items to donate in San Francisco for their local community, too. We feel this speaks volumes volumes about the wonderful people we get to work with every week, helping to make an impact on the world around us! Here’s to a 2019 that is happy, successful, and full of giving.
